Corpus Christi, TX -

Torobilt Corporation announced today that the company has been awarded a $1.2m fire restoration project by The YMCA. Earlier this year, a fire took place in the mens sauna room, which caused extreme damage throughout the first floor. Damages included primary electrical panels, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, roof and structural, network, and more.

Torobilt Corporation, who specializes in Fire and Water restoration took on Phase 1 of the project immediately after the fire took place. Phase 1 consisted of demolition, cleaning, and the haul-off of several tons of debris. After months of planning and design, due to the extremity of electrical and hvac system upgrades, permits for Phase 2 restoration were granted by the City of Corpus Christi. The re-construction is underway and expected to be completed by the end of the year.

"Fires are never a good thing, especially when the damage is so large, that it interrupts the everyday flow of business", says Art Ramirez, Interim Chief Operations Officer of Torobilt Corporation. "Fortunately, no one was injured or hurt", he continued. "Materials can be replaced, and buildings can be re-built," says Ramirez. "We are honored to have been called upon by the YMCA to perform the restoration services. We have restored several homes and commercial buildings from fire damage throughout the years, so this is right up our alley."
